Position Summary

Plan, direct, or coordinate medicine and health services in all clinical sites.  Provides oversight and leadership within assigned area of responsibility.  Assists in the management of the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities. Plans and implements systems that accomplish work objectives and fulfill the mission and goals efficiently and effectively. Plans and allocates resources to effectively staff department and meet productivity and quality goals. Plans, evaluates, and improves the efficiency of processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output. Formulates business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department. Reviews performance data that includes quality, satisfaction, engagement, and financial reports. Monitors and measures productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness. Participates in the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the area of responsibility. Prepares periodic reports for management to track goal accomplishment. Leads colleagues using performance management and development process.

Education

Bachelors-Related Discipline-Required

Masters-Related Discipline-Preferred

Experience

3 Year(s)-Leadership experience or equivalent in a related field.-Required

5 Year(s)-Related Experience-Required

·       Understands OSHA regulations and Illinois Workers Compensation laws regarding work related injuries and recordability

·       Interprets safety trends and opportunities for Occupational Health clients

·       Works with Occupational Health clients to develop proactive processes to reduce work related injury occurrence at the client location

·       Manage relationship between Occupational Health providers, case managers, worker compensation adjusters, and clients to develop best practice treatment plans for injured employees

·       Identifies processes to improve overall performance of clinics and defines innovative measurements of performance standards to integrate organizational strategies.

·       Demonstrates strong business acumen and knowledge of staffing, capacity, ROI, budget, margins, service and product offerings, to implement and drive strategic and relevant operational outcomes.

·       Coordinates and productively facilitates communication across remote sites and effectively navigates through multilayer client relationships

·       Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage complex multiple lines of service and clients.

·       Provides effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring at the site level.

·       Consults with Medical, Legal or Compliance departments regarding regulations, practices act, practice law, certification requirements etc.

·       May be asked to complete ad hoc projects.
