Position Summary
Performs office activities including the generation of procedure reports, scheduling of procedures, collecting department performance improvement data and secretarial duties such as managing telephone calls, typing and filing. Utilizes specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures.

Education
High School Diploma or GED-Required

Experience
2 years secretarial experience required - preferably in a medical/hospital setting.  Must possess knowledge and skill related to the use of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word, Excel and Access.  Must be able to type 60 words per minute.  Must be knowledgeable of medical terminology and transcription.
