Position Summary

Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a good understanding of applicable systems and healthcare requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies complex systems requests. Includes analysis of organization and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary under general supervision of more senior Systems Analysts. Competent to work in most phases of systems analysis and considers the implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts.


High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years of relevant experience; Associate's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or Master's Degree and one year of relevant experience.


Experience or academic training in a clinical, business or healthcare environment.

  • This position will serve on our Epic Stork team within our HSHS Information and Technology Services Epic Product Line.
  • Candidates will be assigned an appropriate level at the time of offer. Levels are assigned based on a candidate's level of education and relevant experience and taking into account internal equity.
  • HSHS will provide Epic certification support for candidates who are not already certified.
  • The employment of the candidate hired for this position will be contingent on their agreement to complete the appropriate Epic module training and certification within a reasonable period of time as required for the position. 
  • Evening, night, and/or weekend on-call support as scheduled may be required.
  • Travel to other HSHS ministries may be required.
  • Prior experience in OB/GYN, Women's Heath, or NICU preferred 
  • Prior experience will be given to those already certified in EpicCare Clinical Documentation and/or Stork 
  • Exposure to working with GE or Philips Electronic Fetal Monitoring systems is a plus
  • Looking for candidates who are interested in report development and data extraction
  • Technical and analytical inclination desired
